Dan-Smith-2007-small-150x150All right stop collaborate and listen – following our recent audit, I’m proud to say that British Standards have confirmed the continuation of our ISO accreditation. For anybody who hasn’t heard of this, ISO20000 sets out best practice for IT service providers, bringing a systematic approach to managing services.

Retail Assist first achieved ISO20000 accreditation in 2008 for our services and Merret supply chain solution, and… *minor brag alert* was the first retail-only IT services provider to meet this gold standard.

On a serious note, as well as demonstrating our commitment to good practice and exceptional service, we see ISO20000 as an endorsement of our people, processes and technology, and believe that its framework will help support the continuous improvement of Merret and delivery of projects and managed services.  ISO20000 is the ONLY standard that confirms ITIL accreditation, something that needs to be on every consultant’s RFP checklist.

At a time when we are expanding our operations, we feel it is particularly relevant to demonstrate our adherence to an auditable standard, that is accepted industry-wide and internationally.
