Jacques Vert Group Plc and Retail Assist shortlisted for ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ award

It has been announced that The Jacques Vert Group Plc has been shortlisted with Retail Assist and Merret in the ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ category at the forthcoming Retail Week Technology Awards 2013.

Designed for multichannel retailing, the Merret supply chain solution was chosen to fuel the international and multichannel growth aspirations of the Jacques Vert Group and the newly merged Irisa brands.  The merging Irisa brands took the Jacques Vert Group from 4 to 10 brands, and are now the UK’s largest concession retailer, growing from 1000 to 1900 outlets.

The implementation of the Merret supply chain solution has been hugely successful in delivering efficiencies throughout the business, and in enabling the brands to trade seamlessly as a global and multichannel retailer.

John Bovill, Jacques Vert Group Commercial Director observes: “Appearing on the shortlist at the Retail Week Technology Awards is a great honour, and a fantastic recognition for the Jacques Vert and Retail Assist teams involved in this project.”

Alan Morris, Retail Assist Executive Chairman comments: “We are extremely pleased to have been shortlisted for the Supply Chain Excellence award alongside the Jacques Vert Group Plc for our work on the Merret implementation and Irisa integration. We look forward to our continued partnership with them and supporting their future global growth.”

The Retail Week Technology Awards aims to recognise excellence and technology projects that have led the way over the past year.  The 2013 winners of ‘Supply Chain Excellence’ will be announced on the evening of Wednesday 19th June 2013. The ceremony is being held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
